NOOOOOO, not in the first half when they ran their script....but, in the 2nd half, Wade said "gotta do something different" (and did)...Linehan said "ahh, we did fine in the first half, let;'s run the same plays again, but this time, don't use DEZ at all...that will fool them..."

I am sick of time after time, after time, after time of being out-coached...Rodgers is gonna kill us

Mark Schlereth just said it best, though he wasn't talking about a specific coach.

A coach's job is to put his players in position to win. A lot of coaches are hung up on their scheme / system.

Pretty much sums up both sides of the ball with the Cowboys coaches.

No.

Plain and simple.

Curious to hear why you felt we lost?

How was the crowd/atmosphere? I didn't notice too many Ram fans on the broadcast. The week before it definitely looked and felt like there were more Cowboy fans than Cardinals fan here. We always have a healthy representation out here, but definitely felt more so this time.

NBC 5 sports director Newy Scruggs and the Original 88 Drew Pearson discuss whether the Cowboys were out-coached in the second half after the 35-30 loss to the Rams.
I thought it was already accepted the JG and his staff are ALWAYS outcoached every game....isn't it?

Was it me, or did our players and coaches look tired and lethargic in the 2nd half? Definitely seemed out matched. Their head coach looked like a mad scientist, over there on the sidelines, in the 2nd half.

Honestly the number 1 reason is the LA Rams are talented and playing well. They are a good football team.

I think they lost their momentum in a number of ways. Giving up points before the half, the offense being terrible in the third quarter forced the defense to play to many snaps.

The crowd was actually really good in the first half, way Better than I expected. The second half it was a morgue because again the crowd and the team goes as the offense goes and the offense goes as the QB goes. The offense and the Qb were terrible in the third quarter.

Being exceptionally poor at linebacker didn’t help either. I like Durant a lot but that is way to many snaps for him.

The Red Clapper Butt Slapper has one gameplan. He is basically saying "this is what we are going to do, we are not going to try and fool you, you need to stop us". Well, guess what, teams have figured out how to stop them. The problem is that RCBS does not have a plan B.

I still can't believe the moron decided to go for 2 from the 12 yard line with half a quarter left, his explanation, 'we wanted to battle'.

going for 1 would have been the worst decision he has ever made. There is not a single reason to kick the extra point there, not one.

Theebs i'm afraid you aren't looking at the situation correctly.

There was half a quarter left to play, going for it from the 2 yard line, fine, from the 12 yard line absolutely not.

If they don't make it, which they eventually don't from the 7, they are down by 2 and if the Rams score a TD the game is essentially over.

However if they kick the single point the Rams cannot put them any further behind than 8 points, or one score.

The commentators talked about it quite a bit on the following drive, it was amateurish at best.

Very poor decision from a coach at that, or any level.

I still disagree. Down 32-30 calls for a two pt try. Being down 32-31 or 35-31 is not different being down 39-31 means you have to go for two anyway. I believe it was the right move. I can't imagine any coach kicking there.

Ok, no point in discussing further, all the best.

--COACHING: F - The Cowboys made no halftime adjustments, unlike the Rams, who found a way to move the ball on offense and stone Dak Prescottt and Ezekiel Elliott in the third quarter. Also coaching must be blamed for Switzer making poor decisions on kickoff returns and being too cavalier on punt returns, leading to a turnover. This was a game the Cowboys had to have after leading 17-6 and 24-13 early in the second quarter only to see the Rams blow by with little resistance until it was too late.

The rams have better coaching
A better QB
A better RB
A better Defense
Better special teams

So ? Why are we surprised. We didn’t play 60 minutes and got beat by the better team.
The Rams had the same qb, same rb, and the same defense last year, but they don't have the same head coach. As many posters have said here before, whenever Dallas doesn't have the superior talent, they have trouble winning. Well you are not going to always be the most talented team. Coaching matters a great deal in the NFL, probably more so than any other team sport. The Rams coaching staff is more than likely better than the Dallas coaching staff. Well at least on Sunday they were.

Absolutely out coached.
Now, I do agree with him going for the 2 point. It could’ve gone either way though as to when to go for it. It’s a damned if you do situation, but I think most coaches would’ve opted for the 2 at that moment. Momentum seemed to be swinging in their favor and you have to take into account the horrible defensive play. LA was going to score again you have to hope the D could get you a stop in time and limit them to a FG.
