Cooper Rush does it again, brings Cowboys back for 24-20 preseason win over Raiders

The traditional “dress rehearsal” game wound up a 24-20 win for the Dallas Cowboys over the visiting Oakland Raiders. On the down side, they came away with some lingering concerns about the starting lineups, and a couple of dreaded, pointless injuries. But the Cooper Rush train continued to build steam as he put up another impressive performance, even overcoming a defensive touchdown to pull out the victory.

Cooper Rush is the real deal...i mean anyone that can make Lance look like Rice is very special..

My hatred is toward Collins for taking away one of the best catches and throws from Dak to T-Will ever....not to mention the first down to Cole earlier.

his passes have zip on them and his ball placement is impressive.

For the most part, he's putting passes where they'll be caught or INC. He's not putting too many in places where a DB can challenege the pass or make a play on it

His poise in the pocket is good. May need to develop those eyes in the back of his head, but still looked good. Runs well if needed.

There's no doubt he won't clear waivers. There are teams that WILL make him their #2 QB if given the chance.

I was cheering big time when he completed that 43 yard TD, it made the 2017 regular season better overall. It's a big deal to have your 2nd best quarterback secure the #2 spot. If Kellen Moore somehow made the #2 spot, or took a spot of another player, it hurts the team as a whole. Even if Dallas keeps 3 QB's, Cooper Rush will NOT get cut! That is certain.
