Here's your hypothetical of the week: Would you let Dez Bryant go in exchange for two first-round picks?

The Dallas Cowboys will do what everybody knew they would do since contract negotiations with Dez Bryant broke down last: they will apply the franchise tag to Dez Bryant sometime before Monday at 4:00 pm ET.

Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports that the Cowboys will apply the non-exclusive franchise tag to Bryant. The non-exclusive tag, which is cheaper, allows other teams to offer Bryant a contract.
