Dez Bryant plays the game with intensity, and you've got to love Bryant's heart and energy as he talks up his teammates.

You might recall that Dez Bryant's animated way of roaming the sidelines has led to the occasional misunderstanding when observers speculate about what Bryant is doing without knowing exactly what Bryant is saying on the sidelines.

There won't be any such misunderstandings from last week's Saints game, as NFL films had Bryant mic'd up for the game. The NFL won't let me embed the video so you will have to follow the link, but it will definitely be worth your time.

Here are some of the highlights of what the mircrophones picked up from Bryant:

To his fellow wide receivers during pre-game warmups:

To Devin Street: Let’s dominate the game. Let’s dominate.

To Dwayne Harris: Hey, It’s our show, alright?

To Cole Beasley: Hey, it’s our show. Wideout show.

To Terrance Williams: T-Dub. This is our show, our show, alright?

To Terrance Williams after T-Dub’s touchdown:

That’s big time, boy, big time.

Hey, keep killing them bro.

To C.J. Spillman and Barry Church:

Them boys are ballin’, Hey, you’ll boys are ballin’.

Walking up to J.J. Wilcox on the field:

Hey, let me tell you something.

STAY. LIKE. THAT.

Y’all kick them boys like that man.

In the huddle:

They don’t know .. they’re waiting for something to happen. While they’re waiting for something to happen, let’s keep putting it on their ***, all right?

To DeMarco Murray after blocking for Murray on his first TD run:

Hey, what’d I tell you? I told you I would get you one!

While watching a replay of Murray’s TD on the Jumbotron:

Look, look, DeMo! Watch this replay.

To DeMarco Murray, RB coach Gary Brown, Jason Witten and Tony Romo.

Told you! I am happy.

I ain’t gonna lie to you, DeMo killed me, bro.

[To Romo] Let me tell you something. DeMo hurt my feelings earlier this week, right? Like, seriously. He was like, "Put Dwayne [Harris] in there," you know, to block. And I was like, "Naaah, I’m going to show DeMo that I can do it."

Oooooh, yeah!

To DeMarco Murray on the sideline

Show them you’re the best running back in the league. Show them you’re the best running back in the league.

To DeMarco Murray after Murray’s second TD.

Hey, you’re really showing them that you’re the best. That’s nasty. That’s nasty.

To DeMarco Murray on the sidelines:

Let me tell you something bro. I ain’t talking to put no pressure on you, but you keep running the ball like that, bro, we’re going to #§$! be in that postseason, man. And it’s all from that, bro.

On the sidelines, prior to his TD catch to go up 38-17:

Let’s lock it. Right now. Let’s end it.

On the sidelines with Scott Linehan

Linehan: This was a frickin’ awesome game.

Bryant: It was, coach. Hey, I appreciate it, man. I appreciate it.

Because I know there’s more to come.

Here's Bryant from last year, providing some context to his emotions during a game:

"My passion is always positive," said Bryant. "It's always positive. It's going to remain the same way. I'm not saying anything wrong. I'm not saying anything bad. It's all positive. That's just what it is.

"I'm the nicest person off the field. When I'm on the field, even when I look angry, it's still all good passion. It's all good passion. I feel like that's what we need. I'm going to remain the same way. I feel like I love this game. I love it. In order to win, you've got to be passionate about this game. You have to be. You've got to let that dog come out and just put it all out there on the line."

"It's been that way since day one. The day that I got drafted, like I told y'all, don't get it twisted: I love this game. I love my teammates. That's what it is. It's going to forever remain the same. It started in Pop Warner, went to middle school, went to high school, went to college, and it's here. It's going to stay that way. It won't change."

And that's a big reason why many fans believe Dez Bryant plays with more heart and emotion than almost anyone on the Dallas Cowboys team. Here's Jason Garrett from 2011 on what he expects from his players, and I'm pretty sure Dez Bryant passes that particular test with flying colors.

"You want guys who love to play football and show you that they love it each and every day. Passion, enthusiasm, emotion, all of those things come into it....It's one thing to talk that, but you need to see that."
