Dez Bryant plays the game with intensity, and you've got to love Bryant's heart and energy as he talks up his teammates.

You might recall that Dez Bryant's animated way of roaming the sidelines has led to the occasional misunderstanding when observers speculate about what Bryant is doing without knowing exactly what Bryant is saying on the sidelines.

There won't be any such misunderstandings from last week's Saints game, as NFL films had Bryant mic'd up for the game. The NFL won't let me embed the video so you will have to follow the link, but it will definitely be worth your time.

Here's Bryant from last year, providing some context to his emotions during a game:

"My passion is always positive," said Bryant. "It's always positive. It's going to remain the same way. I'm not saying anything wrong. I'm not saying anything bad. It's all positive. That's just what it is.

"I'm the nicest person off the field. When I'm on the field, even when I look angry, it's still all good passion. It's all good passion. I feel like that's what we need. I'm going to remain the same way. I feel like I love this game. I love it. In order to win, you've got to be passionate about this game. You have to be. You've got to let that dog come out and just put it all out there on the line."

And that's a big reason why many fans believe Dez Bryant plays with more heart and emotion than almost anyone on the Dallas Cowboys team. Here's Jason Garrett from 2011 on what he expects from his players, and I'm pretty sure Dez Bryant passes that particular test with flying colors.

"You want guys who love to play football and show you that they love it each and every day. Passion, enthusiasm, emotion, all of those things come into it....It's one thing to talk that, but you need to see that."
