It's Christmas Eve here at BTB and before the big day kicks off, we make one last throw at the moon. The Front Page Writers give you their 4, 34, and 67.
We are but a day away from everyone's favorite time of the year. After a long offseason, that practically began on Thanksgiving day, we have finally made it to the NFL Draft. As your resident BTB mock draft maestro or man of mockery, whatever you would like to call it, it was important to put the rest of my colleagues in a corner before I catch that flight to the Windy City.
We've been over this, under it, through it, and around it and now it's time to put one last opinion piece out there before the mold has set. I posed the question to my friends, in a perfect but realistic world, who are your picks at 4, 34, and 67. At the conclusion of this piece, I will pose the same question to the masses here at BTB. You are picking perhaps three starters and three players in the top 100 picks. In your mind, which three players will help the Cowboys become the better team by the end of the first two days in the process.
A few things you take away here is that we all are confident that the pick is coming down to Jalen Ramsey or Ezekiel Elliott at fourth overall. That pick isn't hard because it shouldn't be hard, pick the best player and look forward to the second round. Either Ramsey or Elliott would be a fine pick for Dallas going forward.

Speaking of the second round, every front page writer is going defensive line in the second round. Ogbah is the overwhelming favorite and it probably has a lot to do with the thought of his fit in Rod Marinelli's scheme. He's got the first step and speed to power ratio that projects well at the type of pass rusher the Cowboys want. Spence and Nkemdiche are high talent players with character concerns that could fall into the second round. No matter how you look at it the Cowboys need talented pass rushers and the writers are all in agreement.
It's either quarterback or running back in the third round. That pick at 67 has been mostly reserved for a running back through our mock process but a quarterback makes sense here too. Prescott, Jones or Hackenberg could all possibly be in play here. Prosise has become a favorite with what he was able to do in just one year as a starter. He seems to be built to play running back and play it at a high level.
Who did the best? Who did the worst? How would you tweak these picks? There are plenty of different ways to go and we look forward to your "Big Three" in the comment section.
