A quick rundown.

The NFL Network's Top 100 players of the 2013 season keeps on rolling along. They have presented players 100 through 61 so far, and the Cowboys placed four players in that grouping.

All the way down at #98 is the Senator, Jason Witten. The ageless one keeps on keeping on, providing the Cowboys with 73 catches for 851 yards and 8 TDs. That's solid work for the vet, and his ability to block along with his receiving skills keeps him as one of the best in the game.

At #87 comes DeMarco Murray, who finally put together the season we all thought he was capable of doing. He only missed two games, a big improvement for him, and that allowed him to rack up 1,121 yards rushing with 9 TDs, plus 53 catches for 350 yards and 1 TD.

Tyron Smith finally breaks in at #78. This is the one guy of this group who is likely to continue a steady climb up the ranks until he finally makes it in the Top 20 or so. His talent is that good, he just needs to stay healthy and stay dedicated.

At #71, Tony Romo makes the list. Romo is coming off a mixed year. He threw for 31 TDs versus only 10 INTs, which is an excellent ratio. But his yards per attempt and yards per game were the lowest of his career. I still maintain that his back was hurting him to some degree all year. He just couldn't hit the long ball with the velocity and precision we were used to from #9.

So what do you guys think about these rankings? Are they too high, too low, or just about right? Not that it really matters, but just a fun discussion on a slow Saturday afternoon.
