The Cowboys injury list is getting pretty small. Unfortunately, the two guys that are sitting out happen to play the same position and play prominent roles on offense and special teams. Like yesterday, the two Cowboys players to miss practice today are wide receivers Miles Austin and Dwayne Harris. The Cowboys are being extremely cautious with Austin and his hamstring, they might even sit him this week just to make sure they don't re-injure anything and have a long-term situation on their hands. Harris looks more likely to play, it was thought he might even practice today but that didn't happen.
The Chargers are very vulnerable to the pass, so having both these players in the lineup would be a bonus for Dallas. If they can't go, Terrance Williams will have to fill in as the #2 WR, Cole Beasley will be the slot guy and return punts, but it may be hard to replace Harris' role on special teams coverage.
DeMarcue Ware will be a limited participant in practice for a bit as the Cowboys don't want to risk any contact for him while dealing with the stinger issues. Coach Garrett hopes they can get that under control and let Ware return to practice on a regular basis in the future. There's no issue with Ware playing in games.
