I guess technically Miles Austin could still play on Sunday, but the outlook is certainly poor for that to happen. The wide receiver with the troublesome hamstrings missed Friday's practice and was seen running on the sidelines but not at full speed. Jason Garrett will let a veteran miss practice all week and still play, but no one who has seen him thinks that Austin will be ready for Sunday. With his hamstrings the Cowboys are just going to have to wait until he is fully healed. Terrance Williams will get the start again if Austin can't go, and would get the opportunity to redeem his late fumble last week. Besides the fumble (and one drop), Williams was fairly effective last week.

On the "good news" side of the ledger, it looks like George Selvie will be able to go. He was cleared for practice today and was out on the field. That sounds like he will play unless he has a setback before then. The Cowboys need him in there, he's been pretty solid so far this season and the Cowboys have another defensive lineman hurt this week. Edgar Jones missed practice all week with a groin injury so he's probably not playing.

Justin Durant missed his third consecutive day with a groin injury, his status is likely out, too. That means that Ernie Sims would start along with Bruce Carter, but Sims would likely take the nickel sets instead of Carter.
