The big injury news of the day.
Jason Garrett addressed some of the injury issues the Dallas Cowboys are currently facing. First up is a shocker. Cornerback Brandon Carr broke a bone in his hand while doing some press coverage. He will undergo surgery on it Monday.

Obviously this is a downer. Carr is a starter and is trying to rebound from some uneven play over the last few years. This will take him out of action for some amount of time, but how long we don't know yet.
In other injury news...
Dez Bryant, who has been diagnosed with a strained hamstring and is listed as day to day. And that day will not be today as he skipped the morning walk-through and will not practice today.
Darren McFadden will not practice until at least after the San Diego Chargers preseason game. The Cowboys have no interest in testing his hamstring until they are positive it is 100%.
Also showing up on the injured list is Orlando Scandrick with a sore knee but is listed as day to day so it shouldn't be serious.
And as noted yesterday all indications are that Ken Boatright is recovering without serious damage after his neck injury scare that required a trip to the hospital.
