Who to watch today as a Cowboys fan.

The Dallas Cowboys could actually clinch a playoff spot by the end of today. They would be the first NFL franchise to do so in the 2016 season if all works out. The first part of their clinching scenario happened on Thursday when they won a hard-fought and ugly game over the Minnesota Vikings. That was required for them to have a chance to make the playoffs this weekend.

Now they can watch two games in hopes of getting step one of their dream 2016 season out of the way. They can get to the playoffs today with either a loss by Washington, or a tie or loss by Tampa Bay. Both of those teams play in late afternoon games.

Washington plays the Arizona Cardinals in a late game on FOX. At 6-4-1 Washington is still holding on to the sixth-place seed in the NFC. At 4-6-1, the Cardinals are rapidly falling out of the race. Still, cross-country trips for teams are never easy, so we’ll keep an eye on that one.

The Buccaneers are a surging team with three straight wins and are just outside of the playoff picture at 6-5. The Chargers are 5-6 but still hoping for a late-season miracle run to the playoffs.

Most of the country will be getting the Giants and Steelers game when these two other games are on, so unless you have Sunday Ticket or Redzone, it might be hard to keep up.

Which loss is most likely?
