In the never-ending world of talent acquisition, the Dallas Cowboys made some roster moves on Wednesday as they close out their OTA sessions before next week's mini-camp. Yesterday we noted they worked out seven new players and they ended up signing three of them.

The most notable name is Lawrence Okoye. The reason he is notable is because of his background as an Olympic discuss thrower from England. He represented his country in the 2012 Summer Olympics then decided it was time to give football a shot. He was signed as a free agent by the San Francisco 49ers in 2013 and most recently spent time on the Cardinals and the Jets practice squads. So far, he's only played in a few preseason games with the 49ers.

The Cowboys also signed linebacker Brandon Hepburn and offensive tackle Bryan Witzmann. Hepburn played ball at Florida A&M and was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the seventh round of the 2013 draft. He was most recently with the Philadelphia Eagles. Witzmann played college ball at South Dakota State and has been on the Houtson Texans and New Orleans Saints rosters.

To make room the Cowboys released defensive end Caleb Azubike, offensive tackle Justin Renfrow, and linebacker Jerrell Harris.
