Both Devin Street and Butler are going to have breakout years. Lucky too. And what's his name

If he keeps up the good work, would it make any difference to you? Was that the only play that decided that game? Seems to me that it was some miraculous play by both Rodgers and Cook. It also seems to me the failure of the refs to call a holding penalty on the guy that tackled Irving had an effect as well.

I'd like that it he keeps it up. But you know who else was a TC stud? Mo Claiborne. These practices really mean next to nothing.

PS plain and simple we got beat on the last pass play against the Packers, we had all the momentum just had to stop them on one play.

Noah may not play well enough to make the team yet. If he does, how often have we kept 6 WR? If you've got the talent, WR is usually smart to go long on. Price, injury, passing league, etc

To OP, been a fan of Byron since the draft. They don't throw all those positions at you if you aren't smart. He does need to assert himself a little more, but this is third year. I expect him to do pretty well. Managing expectations but he could have a great year.

Awuzie is going to ball out. I tried to tell y'all. I loved this pick.

If Jaylon Smith is healed going into the season, we completely hit the jackpot. I may have to get a jersey.

Lol what's up with Paea? This isn't the first time I've read about him winning some good battles. Could be an underrated signing.

Not worried about Taco. Marquez White is interesting. Rico getting frustrated, at least he cares.

La'el Collins... Pretty much what everyone was talking about when they saw him being a better NFL G than Tackle. Way too early to conclude anything, but his weakness is space. I thought he was pretty much a lock for at least a Brian Waters career at G. I just don't know if he's going to be *that* at Tackle.

yup - I think he is a better G than Tackle although I admit he has time to learn. Just keep working on his footwork.

I can still be excited about this season while having a bad taste in my mouth about the way last season ended. It's not that I'm not hopeful we can't do better, but I've watched us be one of the top 2-3 tears 2 out of the last three years with nothing to show for it.
To be fair those were different teams. We are led by a younger group now and Dak has had 1 shot. You think the 90s teams were great right away? How many times you think it took Jordan to get out the first round. Just enjoy this team being built and the dynasty that comes with it

Mo Claiborne was never a stud in TC. Hell most the time he couldn't practice due to injury. I'm not sure he made it through 1 single training camp without missing practice or games

That secondary was collectively a failure, especially in terms of the intermediate and deep coverage that our DBs had to defend. As it turned out, our CBs and safeties other than Jones were ill suited to defend against the likes of Rodgers and the receivers like Cook. Jones was saddled with the problem of making up for the limited coverage that the others could handle. It limited him in effect.

That's hopefully not the case now, so were talking about apples and oranges in terms of the pass defense that we now have available as compared to that of last season. The loss that you're lamenting occurred in the past. Let the past go and look to the future with hope for sufficient change to rectify our former mistakes. This team has revamped its secondary with that in mind. Hopefully, it will pay off in the future.
