The final injury report of the week.

Friday is the day for the final injury report. The Cowboys are gearing up for a battle with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and they definitely have some injury issues to deal with. Let’s get to it.

Deonte Thompson and Brice Butler were downgraded to limited today. Maybe the Cowboys will tighten their receiver rotation out of necessity. #cowboyswire pic.twitter.com/WbnNPl7EAf

As expected, linebackers Sean Lee and Joe Thomas have both been ruled out of the game. Jason Garrett hinted earlier today that Lee might practice in a limited fashion, even if he wasn’t going to play, but that wasn’t the case as he was is shown as a non-participant.

Probably the biggest injury issue the Cowboys have in terms of this game is starting corner Chidobe Awuzie. He was unable to finish the last game after re-aggravating his ankle injury, and he’s been limited all week. He is officially listed as questionable for the game.

DeMarcus Lawrence has been officially designated as questionable, but he is expected to play. You can read more about his current injury situation here.

Two receivers appear today on the injury report after not appearing on it all through the week. As mentioned above in David Helman’s tweet, Brice Butler and Deonte Thompson were limited today and both are questionable for the game.

Along the defensive line, Randy Gregory and Maliek Collins are both questionable. Gregory has a lingering knee issue and Collins is trying to work his way back into the rotation after being limited in all three practices this week. The Cowboys will get some help at defensive tackle from David Irving, he practiced Thursday and Friday and has already mentioned he will be playing on Sunday.

On the Jaguars side of the ledger, Leonard Fournette, tackle Josh Wells, and corners D.J. Hayden and Tre Herndon have been ruled out.

The big surprise is corner Jalen Ramsey being listed as questionable, it’s not at all certain he will play.

“It’s 50-50,” Head Coach Doug Marrone said of Ramsey as the Jaguars (3-2) prepared to play the Dallas Cowboys (2-3) at AT&T Stadium Sunday at 4:25 p.m. “We’re just going to monitor the situation as it goes.

“If something happens there, we probably would have to make a move. We would be down a bunch of corners.”

That would be a big blow for the Jaguars defense.
