The final injury report heading into Sunday’s game between the Cowboys and Packers.
The Dallas Cowboys had hoped that linebacker Sean Lee would be able to play this week against the Green Bay Packers. It doesn’t look like that will happen. Earlier in the day Jerry Jones cast some doubt on his availability, seeming to hint that after the bye was a better time for him to return. Lee hasn’t practiced all week with his hamstring injury and is officially listed as questionable, but most of the sentiment around the Cowboys headquarters is that he won’t play.
My best guess is that everyone but Lee will be available to play if needed.

As noted in the above tweet, everyone else should be good if needed. That includes Tyron Smith who missed a couple of days with back tightness. Stephen Paea rarely practices anymore but he still plays. Anthony Brown has an ankle tweak keeping him at questionable, so we’ll have to wait to be sure but it’s thought he can play. Nolan Carroll and La’el Collins are both questionable but expected to go.
Anthony Hitchens isn’t listed on the injury report today so that means he’s playing. That’s welcome news with Lee likely not playing.
In other injury news, Charles Tapper is expected to miss 10-12 weeks with a broken foot, he’ll likely go on IR to open up a spot for David Irving. There is also an update on Rico Gathers.
Gathers has been away from team headquarters while recovering and not taking part in team meetings. However, Gathers was at The Star on Thursday to weigh in, which the Cowboys viewed as a positive sign.
One Cowboys source said he's recently received positive news on Gathers and that he's progressing. However, the serious nature of his concussion could keep him out longer if all symptoms don't go away.
