We have finally made it to the end and football Christmas is just a few days away. This is the end and now we present the Mockery Finale.

In just a few days, we will finally know what the Cowboys plan to do with the fourth-overall pick. We've mocked our little hearts out all offseason and we'll now be rewarded with something tangible. For some reason, I keep singing "just another mock draft Monday" to the tune of Manic Monday by The Bangles (written by the one and only Prince, R.I.P.) Yep, we've finally made it to the finale, a mockery has to be made just one last time, shall we? Well, for this one, BTB is going to get exactly what they wanted based on your votes in our series.

Round 1

41% Wanted A Trade Back In Round One. Bryan Broaddus thinks the Saints want to move up, so they do. Goff, Wentz, and Ramsey are off the board.

(Saints send 12, 47, and 78 (1,830 points) to Cowboys for 4th overall (1,800 points) and Joey Bosa is the pick, go figure, Tunsil is tumbling to Baltimore)

Pick 12: Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson

Fills a gaping hole the Cowboys have on their defensive line and continues the rebuilding of the cupboard of rushmen. Lawson fits the Cowboys' style of a pass rusher as he's quick off the edge but can help you contain the running attack. He's got some explosiveness off the ball and is an extreme competitor. His future is bright and his ceiling is high, plus the Cowboys get a few valuable picks.

Round 2

46% Wanted A Defensive Tackle At Pick 34

Pick 34: Vernon Butler, DT, Louisiana Tech

Back-to-back picks for Rod Marinelli along the defensive line. Butler is a penetrating tackle that can come in and eat guards for breakfast. He was absolutely unblockable at the Senior Bowl and now he joins Tyrone Crawford, Cedric Thornton and others. These defensive tackles shouldn't have any issues getting penetration inside and freeing up the edge rushers.

57% Wanted A Safety In Round Two Or Three

Pick 47: Karl Joseph, SS, West Virginia

Cowboys still need a cornerback but the value was a lot better in taking Joseph. With a little more polish, he has the ability to take over games with his hard-hitting coverage qualities. Much like Earl Thomas or Kam Chancellor have done for the Seahawks, Joseph's style of play sets the tone on game day. He could go a long way as an eventual replacement to Barry Church and solidify the defense into a feared bunch.

Round 3

Pick 67: C.J. Prosise, RB, Notre Dame

Though he lacks a ton of experience at the position, he made one heck of an impression on everyone once thrust into the role. He's got natural cutting abilities and is simply a playmaker. He's got a good build for the position and is a willing blocker for the quarterback. Prosise is going to be a fine running back in the NFL and fits perfectly in the Cowboys' scheme. Just see the big hole and run on to daylight.

Pick 78: Xavien Howard, CB, Baylor

He's got a lot to like about him and almost fits the Cowboys' scheme to a glove. Though BTB loves Jalen Ramsey, they wanted a trade back a bit more. Howard is excellent in press coverage but isn't lost in zone. Broaddus was quite impressed with his pro day and he's certainly on the radar. He's got some speed and fluidity to run with the receivers in the NFL. He could compete early for a starting role.

Round 4

38% Said Target A Quarterback In The Mid To Late Rounds

Pick 101: Yannick Ngakoue, DE, Maryland

He's got that dreadful "tweener" label but this is one cat that can get to the quarterback and has improved every single year. He's not the liability in run support he once was. The Cowboys gave him a private workout and with the way Marinelli is constantly evolving his scheme, he's got a vision for this kid. He may have to put his hand in the dirt but his burst and explosiveness is something to marvel at.

Pick 135: Dak Prescott, QB, Mississippi State

Prescott has been drafted an awful lot in the mocks but he's also taken plenty of visits with the Cowboys throughout this process. Despite some who are turned off by the idea, he's the best shot after the Hackenberg's and Cook's are long gone. Prescott has qualities that can be developed into perhaps a pretty good starter. Notice, I did not say franchise quarterback, the Cowboys will wait for another time to fall on that grenade. Just be prepared, if they don't find a miracle to Lynch, Prescott is their target.

Round 6

Pick 189: Cody Core, WR, Ole Miss

A really solid hands-first receiver that can make dome really amazing catches. Classic case of a guy that was overlooked with Laquon Treadwell on the same team. When he stepped in for Treadwell, he made the most of his opportunities. His skills were on display at the Shrine Game where he was by far the best deep threat on the field. Cowboys have made a point

Pick 212: Rodney Coe, DT, Akron

He was one of the Cowboys' 30 visits and is an interesting player, to say the least. He started 10 games in 2015, recorded 43 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and was named All-MAC Third Team. That ranked him first in the MAC and third nationally. When you watch the tape, you see a guy with some explosion and he's a load to deal with. The Cowboys continue to build in a way that mirrors the 2005 Draft.

Pick 216: Cory James, OLB, Colorado State

Another visitor to Valley Ranch, folks may not know where to play him. Like Myles Jack, he makes a ton of plays and some may flirt with putting him at safety. For the Cowboys, I say you take this impressive athlete and keep him at linebacker. He needs to learn the nuances of the game but could be a defensive gadget player as he can surely rush the passer on blitzes out of the SLB position.

Pick 217: David Morgan, TE, Texas- San Antonio

Here comes the typical "huh" pick. The Cowboys like to take tight ends and it actually makes some sense to grab Morgan. He's a lunch-pail guy who has shown his versatility to block and catch. His speed is a bit lacking but as a backup tight end that can handle H-back duties and is a known blocker, they'll take him. He's a good locker room presence and was named a second-team All-American. It wouldn't make sense if the Cowboys neglected tight end. They love them. Now if only they could develop one.
