After a day of (relative) rest, the Cowboys conduct their fifth practice of this year's training camp, and the first practice in a stretch of seven practices over the next eight days.
Today, injured offensive linemen Nate Livings (foot) returns to practice. Ronald Leary (calf) and Mackenzy Bernadeau (hamstring) will likely to return soon as well. All three ran sprints on the sidelines on Wednesday. L.P. Ladouceur worked with the resistance bands on Wednesday and could also be back soon. Here is an overview of the other players currently out, though some of them may be joining practice today again as well.
Out for season: Tyrone Crawford (Achilles)
PUP: Jay Ratliff (hamstring), Mackenzy Bernadeau (hamstring)
Others: Nate Livings (foot), Ronald Leary (calf), Anthony Spencer (knee), Jermey Parnell (hamstring), James Hanna (hamstring), L.P. Ladouceur (calf), Danny Coale (knee), Ikponmwosa Igbinosun (lower leg), Demetress Bell (overall conditioning).
As usual, practice is scheduled to start at 4:00 pm PT/ 7:00 pm ET, and there will be no Blue Period today. The Blue Period is a 30-minute session for rookies and special teams players that typically takes place 30 minutes before practice starts.
