Easley would have been a top 5-10 pick if he hadn't gotten hurt. He was the best player on a dominate defense in Gainesville. He's a risk, no doubt. But man, the upside is off the charts.

Do you think he'll still be there at #30? San Fran is looking to trade up.

What is the success rate for a 2nd surgery to repair an ACL in the same knee if he had another injury?

I've seen that the the primary method repair is to use part of the Patella. They can't do that again is he has another injury because they've both been used.

It does seem that most players with ACL injuries and not cartilage damage are fine after the surgery. My impression is that it might be stronger after the surgery. I think the new ACL is sometimes physically bigger than the original.

If there is no other injury then there is no reason for a second surgery to be lee sucessful than the first. I would have to look at a review to give you hard numbers. Generally there arent mechanical failures. I think infection is still the most likey complcation. If you have a MCL injury with the ACL along with medial instability success rate goes down. This data is dated as I've not reviewed this litderature in awhile.

Most orthopedists can get good results but hes done a ton of them and I've heard is facility his state of the art including rehab testing etc.

Starting to think Easley doesnt make it to Dallas at #47.. I would love for it to happen but I think teams picking before Dallas are willing to take a chance with Easley before the Cowboys even has that option inthe 2nd.
