News: BTB: Donate To The BTB Training Camp Fund

It's that time of year when we ask for your help.

All we are waiting on now is training camp. The draft is over, free-agency is gone, all the OTAs and mini-camps have been completed; there is only one next step for the 2014 Dallas Cowboys and their fans, and that is training camp.

This year, the Cowboys will be travelling out to beautiful Oxnard, CA for training camp, and BTB plans to send Rabblerousr out there to cover the proceedings. This will be Rabs third trip to training camp, and he does it on his own dime. So every year we ask you, the BTB community, to help out with the expenses. And every year, you guys come through in a big way! This year, we hope to send Rabs for the whole time, all of training camp. That will end up costing a bit of cash, so please consider helping out. Whether it's a small amount, or for you well-to-do members, maybe a bigger chunk. Seriously, $10, $20, $50 or whatever, anything you can spare will be helpful.

As I did the last couple of years, I'll pay particular attention to the developmental process, focusing on how it accrues day by day: how are the coaches teaching the install to the players? How have they broken down the various personnel groups, and formations into discrete teachable units? What are their priorities-i.e., what do they teach first each day, when the players are freshest? I'll monitor the developing depth chart, watch the bottom-of-the-roster guys, and toss in position group assessments from time to time. I'll tweet regular updates, hold Twitter question-and-answer sessions as often as possible, and will call in to Podcasts hosted by our fearless leader, Dave Halprin. Talk about getting your money's worth!
