The Cowboys and first-round draft pick Ezekiel Elliott have agreed to a contract deal. Signing draft picks to contracts nowadays certainly lacks the drama of years past. With the new collective bargaining agreement, the pay scale for rookie contracts are basically set, allowing teams to agree to deals pretty quickly and avoiding holdouts. The Cowboys have traditionally been late to the game of signing their picks, and this year is no different. They finally got their first deal done, bringing the Ohio State running back into the fold.

Pro Football Talk reports the deal is for just under $25 million and has a $16.3 million signing bonus. Since he's a first-round pick the Cowboys will have an option for a fifth year on his deal when the time comes.

Todd Archer reports that team also has signed some sixth-round picks, cornerback Anthony Brown, safety Kavon Frazier and running back Darius Jackson.
