BTB returns with the weekly preview of the best and worst fantasy match-up of the weekend. Hopefully you have taken the opportunity to visit our sponsor over at FanDuel and are enjoying the one week leagues, especially if your season has not gone as planned.
Quarterbacks
Start
Russell Wilson - Hey Wilson is facing the Eagles this week, so everyone on this site is going to be in his corner this weekend. Take a chance on Russell this week because the Eagles are one of the best match-ups for QBs this season. That is especially true for the ones who are dual threat types.
Eli Manning - Yeah, I am usually picking on Eli (doesn't everyone?) but he is worth a gamble this week. Ryan Fitzpatrick lit up the Titans secondary last week, and if he can do it, you know that the two time Super Bowl MVP can as well.
Sit
Ben Roethlisberger - Big Ben faces a Cincinnati secondary that has been solid all year, and down the stretch the entire Bengals defense has been a thorn in the side of opposing passers.
Mark Sanchez - If there was ever a time when you would expect Mark to go ...well all Mark Sanchez it would be against the Seattle Seahawks vaunted defense. The Seahawks are averaging four points surrendered per game to the opposing passer over the last several weeks. Sanchez may not fare that well.
Josh McCown - Josh returns to face a former black and blue division foe in Detroit. The Lions defense is stingy to opposing passers this season. They are tied for the third worst match-up in the league as far as QBs are concerned.
Running Backs
Start
Mark Ingram - Ingram had a 100 yard, two score effort earlier this season against the Carolina Panthers, and he is coming off of a rebound performance last week. With Carolina focused on stopping some guy names Brees, the Saints will take advantage by giving the ball to their running back.
Frank Gore - Gore is coming off of a down week against the Seahawks but he will find the running much easier this week against a Oakland Raiders D that has made its mission out to be helping running backs pad their stats. Look for a big day for Gore.
Joique Bell - With Tampa Bay's run defense being as bad as they are, Detroit will not miss Reggie Bush if he cannot go this weekend. They will switch horses and hand the ball off to Bell, who is coming off of a two touchdown performance in his last outing.
Sit
Lamar Miller - Baltimore's run defense is as nasty as they come. No back has approached the hundred yard mark this season, Miller is on a slow streak while the front seven in the Ravens Nest are on fire. One word: NEVERMORE.
LeSean McCoy - Shady has been hot and cold this season, mostly cold. There is no warming trend in sight this weekend as he faces the always tough Seattle defense.
Wide Receiver
Start
Odell Beckham, Jr. - Assuming Eli can stay upright and that he remembers what color jersey he is wearing, Beckham should have one of those games against the Titans secondary. I mumbled a few choice words under my breath when the Giants drafted him this spring. So far I have seen nothing to make me think that we will ever be thankful that he is in New York. This kid is going to be pushing Dez soon.
DeAndre Hopkins - Ryan Fitzpatrick may not resemble the type of QB you want to build your team around, but Hopkins does not mind having him in the pocket. That's because he has become Fitzpatrick's go to guy. Look for the Texans QB to feed him early and often this weekend.
Kenny Stills - With Drew Brees feeding him the ball, Stills has been on a mni-tear the past few weeks. Against a weak Carolina defense that trend should continue for at least one more week.
Sit
Vincent Jackson - Jackson now finds himself in the shadow of some Aggie named Mike Evans. he is clearly the second option in this offense now, and against the nasty detroit secondary there is little chance for Jackson to reverse his downward trend.
Jeremy Maclin - Normally Maclin is a solid bet for an good points day, but then too he doesn't normally face Richard Sherman. This is going to be a long day at the office for all the eagles, and I wouldn't want any of them in my lineup this week.
Tight End
Start
Had they not played on Thursday night, I would be telling you to start either Jason Witten or his former understudy Martellus "The unicorn" Bennett. Those two had the best two matchups of any tight end this week. Since they have both already played, I will refrain from any further suggestions.
Sit
Owen Daniels - Early in the season I thought that Daniels was going to be a solid replacement for Dennis Pitta, but Joe Flacco rarely looks his way. As far as a receiving threat goes, Daniels might as well stay on the sidelines. His primary role is as a blocker for the Ravens.
