Which matchups will be the key to the game?

Football is largely considered to be the "Ultimate Team Game", requiring 11 men to operate in near perfect unison in order to achieve success. However, often times there are individual match ups within the game that can go a long way towards determining the outcome of the contest. Which matchups in the Cowboys week two showdown with the Titans fit the bill?

Cowboys Titans Comments
1 LG - Ronald Leary DE - Jurrell Casey Last week we talked about Leary matching up with Justin Smith of the 49ers. Leary will again draw a big time test in with Casey. If Leary can hold his own in protection against Casey it will go a long way in helping Tony Romo improve over his week one performance.
2 WR - Dez Bryant CB - Jason McCourty Number 88 was held largely in check in week one, and will be the focus of every defense the Cowboys run up against. However, if Ray Horton believes in his top corner enough to match up with Bryant one on one, this will turn out to be a key to the game.
3 OLBs - Bruce Carter/ Anthony Hitchens RB- Dexter McCluster Ken Whisenhunt used a speedy running back with very good receiving skills to terrorize the Cowboys defense when he was the offensive coordinator in San Diego last year. If Rod Marinelli wants his defense to have success this week he's going to need his outside linebackers to be ready to make plays on McCluster.
4 CB - Sterling Moore WR - Kendall Wright The Cowboys were so close to getting Orlando Scandrick back active for this game that they packed his equipment on the team flight, but in the end they will once again look to Moore to man the slot CB position. His challenge will be a great one with the shifty Wright.
5 Off. Play Caller - Scott Linehan DC - Ray Horton These two are both very good scheme coaches for their sides of the ball. I'm very interested to see how Linehan tries to create mismatches, and get primary guys like Bryant and TE Jason Witten opportunities, as well as his secondary weapons like Lance Dunbar, and Gavin Escobar.

If the Cowboys are able to come out on top in the majority of these battles, they will give themselves a great shot to get a win and even their record to 1-1 as they move forward in the season.
