It was Tony Romo day in Dallas once again, but this time on the basketball court.
Tony Romo was honored Tuesday night as he suited up and went through warm ups with the Dallas Mavericks. It was a touching moment that reminded us all that the fans of Dallas truly love their former quarterback. And from the smile on his face, he loves them right back.
Here are some of the key moments dominating the twitterverse that highlighted this memorable event.
Many of his old friends were on hand to show him support.

You may have noticed that Doug Free was in that video too. He was the one guy in the video Romo didn’t hug. I guess some of the missed blocks will never be forgotten. Free also retired and the Mavs will honor him by letting him be “Champs” the mascot in the fourth quarter.
Jason Garrett was there, despite the tumultuous relationship that he and Tony are proclaimed to have. He seems angry.

Zeke also took time to show respect for #9 as well as his nice set of wheels.

Romo in action as he goes through the layup drills. It always calms the butterflies to get that first one out of the way.

But they weren’t all gimmies. He had to work for some of them.

Romo was so impressive, the NBA is considering changing their logo.
And he’s already made the cover of the new NBA 2K18 video game.
Here is a quick game update for those interested:
