Condolences to Terry Glenn’s family and friends.
Sad news today as former NFL wide receiver and Dallas Cowboys player Terry Glenn has passed away from injuries in a car wreck. Glenn was 43 and played in the NFL for 12 years for three teams, including Dallas.
Member of Irving FD told me that former #Cowboys #Patriots & #OhioSt WR Terry Glenn was killed in a car wreck in Irving.

Glenn was drafted number seven overall out of Ohio State in 1996 by the New England Patriots when Bill Parcells was running the show up there. Glenn played for six years in New England before spending one year with the Packers. In 2003, when Parcells took over in Dallas he brought Glenn to the team, where he played four more seasons. During the first game of his fifth season, he hurt his knee and that was his final game in the NFL.
While in Dallas, Glenn had two years where he broke the 1,000 yard barrier and was part of an offensive revival with players like Tony Romo and Terrell Owens. He was a member of the 1996 All-Rookie team and made the Pro Bowl in 1999. He led the NFL in yards per reception in 2005 at 18.3 yards.
Rest in peace, Terry Glenn.
