CowboysZone DIEHARD Fan
I know there is an interesting and unexpected story coming when my wife starts a conversation with, "... you know, in Russia..."

After listening to me discuss the Cowboy's state of affairs, she commented,

"You know, in Russia, when the oligarch starts losing his grip, the next in command just removes him and business returns to normal.

The problem with the Cowboys is no one has the ball$ to remove Jones and, even if they did remove him, the next in command is dumber than Jerry."

This pearl of wisdom is from someone that doesn't watch or understand football, couldn't pick Jerry Jones out of a police lineup, but tolerates my fandom.

:lmao:

These articles are useless. TO ratio has always been strongly correlated with winning and losing since the time stats started being collected in the game. And since QBs typically have most of them on a team, they’re likely mostly responsible for them.

Every fan knew we needed a RB, some talent at #2 WR, and more DL help.
Every fan also knew there would be growing pains with two rookie OLmen starting at spots they didn’t play in college.

Not having threats at RB and WR outside of Lamb just made the OL’s job even harder.

On the other hand, no fan anticipated this many injuries at DL resulting in no pass rush or at CB.

Looking for a trade with meat on the bone, when you could have spent that money during FA, without giving up draft capital.

GM Jethro at his finest.
This is my point....... it's like he has lost a sense of reality
