Arizona by three picks

A few notes on the submitted picks.

  • Of the 467 entries, only five picked the exact 16 consensus picks shown in the table above.
  • Three consensus picks are underdog picks: the Cowboys, Panthers and Bengals are consensus picks here, while the Vegas oddsmakers have them as underdogs.
  • Nobody picked all 16 home teams for the win, though one submission picked 15 home teams. On the opposite end of the spectrum, one submission picked just three home teams out of 16 for the win.
  • Five entrants predict that all four NFC East teams will win their games, only one entrant sees the NFC East going winless.

Here's a link to the Excel file with all the picks for Week 1, for those who are interested in tracking the results themselves.

Pick 256 Tracker Week 1

Once you open the file, you'll see a blue title bar into which you can enter the winning teams to see where you end up among the 467 participants. The title bar is currently populated with the consensus picks, but you can change that of course.

You can also input your own picks into the blue title bar and see how many other participants have the exact same picks as you do. You can also live update the spreadsheet on Sunday during the games to see how you're doing as the games are going on.

In any case, have fun with the file and good luck with your picks.
