Pick 256 is a season-long contest in which BTB members and readers get to pick the straight-up winners for all games each week.

This week, the fan consensus has ten teams as road favorites. For nine of them, the fans think they will win, for the Dallas Cowboys, the fans hope for a win.

Clearly, many fans won't pick against the Cowboys on principle, but you've got to wonder how many Cowboys fans would have picked the Cowboys over the Seahawks at the end of last season ...

With a 4-1 record come raised expectations. The fans know this, the team knows this, and Tony Romo knows this as he channels Bill Parcells:

"Your record is what it is," says Dallas quarterback Tony Romo about the team’s 4-1 start. "You want to put yourself in the best position at the end of the year. Being 4-1 is great but we have a long way to go."

Overall, Week 6 looks like anther week in which our picks went the safe route and picked the favorites. The only two exceptions are obviously the Cowboys as well as the Giants, who are favored over the Eagles in Philadelphia by our panel.
