This is your chance to tell us how you think Tony Romo's return will play out.
Nine games into the season, the Cowboys have the league's second-worst record at 2-7. But oddly, thanks in large part to the ineptitude of the remaining NFC East teams, they are just two losses behind the division leader.
While the Cowboys enjoyed an epic meltdown over the last seven games, all other NFC East teams tried their darndest to keep the Cowboys in the playoff picture.
With Tony Romo coming back this week, and if the other NFC East teams continue to play the way they've been playing, there is a chance the Cowboys could still qualify for the playoffs.
Mind you, it's not a big chance. Here's what some of the advanced stats sites out there show as the Cowboys' current playoff odds:
Site Playoff odds
538.com 3.0%
Football Outsiders 2.2%
Predictionmachine 1.3%
Numberfire 0.6%
Sportsclubstats 0.4%
Total Not much
Those playoff odds are of course contingent on how many of their remaining games the Cowboys (and the rest of the NFC East) win over the next seven weeks.
Which is why today we're asking you what you think the Cowboys' record over the final seven regular season games will be. Let us know where you stand in the poll below and let us know in the comments how you feel about the Cowboys' postseason chances.
