The internet won’t forget!

One of the biggest indicators that the offseason has landed is a shift in focus from playoffs to the Senior Bowl. While the Super Bowl will still take place for two teams the rest of the NFL has already moved on to the 2019 season.

The Cowboys have made it a bit of a habit to find some talent at the Senior Bowl. As the mothership’s David Helman pointed out, odds are pretty high that somebody who’s playing in Mobile, Alabama this week will end up with a star on his helmet in a few months.

The Cowboys have actually wound up with at least one Senior Bowl guy in every draft cycle I’ve covered.

2014: Martin
2015: La’el
2016: Dak
2017: Chido, JLew, Switzer & Marquez White
2018: Gallup

I’d say there’s a VERY good chance a future Cowboys player is in Mobile right now. https://t.co/E1zt3XZUzw

You can view the official Reese’s Senior Bowl rosters right here (North and South) and there are a lot of intriguing names. Dallas needs a lot of things and among them is a complement to Ezekiel Elliott in the run game. Our own Connor Livesay will be at the Senior Bowl all week and has already reported that North Dakota State running back Bruce Anderson has met with the Cowboys. Maybe that’s your choice.

Consider this post as a way to lock yourself in for a Senior Bowl participant. When the Cowboys ultimately finish their 2019 Draft Class (the one that helps them win the Super Bowl obviously) we’ll re-visit and see who correctly called their shot. Rumor has it one of these BTB shirts might even go to that person.

Ready, set, go.
