The Sports Business Journal reports the NFL is likely to schedule a Cowboys-Commanders matchup for Fox’s Thanksgiving Day game.
The NFL schedule won't be announced until the week before the draft, but John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal is reporting that the Dallas Cowboys will "likely" host the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving.

The Cowboys have been hosting Thanksgiving games since 1966, and have faced the Commanders seven times on Thanksgiving since. They won the first six games of the series, but lost the most recent Thanksgiving game in 2012, when Robert Griffin led the Commanders to a 38-31 victory en route to a playoff spot for the Commanders.
Last year, the NFL scheduled the Panthers as the Cowboys' Thanksgiving opponent. At the time the schedule was released, this caused quite a stir, as it would have coincided with Greg Hardy's return to football after what was initially a 10-game ban. Hardy's suspension was subsequently reduced.
This year, there's a very real chance that Robert Griffin won't be wearing a Commanders jersey and a very remote chance that he could be wearing a Cowboys jersey, which would add an extra level of national interest to the game. Not that the NFL would ever think of drumming up interest for its product in such a blatant manner, of course.
If the NFL schedules this season the way it did the last two, the Cowboys will likely end up playing on "Thursday Night Football" in Week 13, the week after the Thanksgiving game. That would give them a 10-day break before heading into Week 14 and the final quarter of the season en route to what will hopefully be a playoff spot
