Doesn’t look like the NFL is going to let this go quietly.

On Tuesday word broke that Cowboys defensive end Tyrone Crawford was involved in an altercation at a bar in Florida last Friday night.

The altercation includes him reportedly shoving two police offers. You can see grainy video of it right here.

While that video exists, so too does evidence from within the business, at least according to TMZ. They reported on Wednesday morning not only that there is video to be found but that the NFL is actively looking into the situation and trying to find it. That doesn’t sound good for Crawford.

We know there is video showing Crawford shoving several police officers while the cops are trying to take control of the situation. Crawford has not been arrested or charged with a crime.

But now, the NFL is on the case ... we’re told league investigators visited the Coyote Ugly on Tuesday hoping to view any footage which could show Crawford’s involvement.

Unclear if the bar agreed to let investigators watch the video.

According to the police report, the bar DOES have surveillance inside the Saloon ... but the responding cops noted there were several blind spots that missed key moments in the altercation.

Crawford is a captain of the Dallas Cowboys who are coached by Jason Garrett, the leader of the “right kind of guy” culture. It’s unbecoming of someone who wears the iconic captain’s “C” to be involved in this, but it looks like that might not be the end of it. If the NFL does find a video and feels like Crawford acted inappropriately they could issue their own type of punishment. Perhaps even a suspension.

We’ve mentioned this a lot, but the Cowboys are in a pickle at defensive end. DeMarcus Lawrence still doesn’t have a new contract, Randy Gregory is suspended, and now this. We’ll see if they do in fact end up trading for Robert Quinn, but right now things could certainly be better.

Meh, doesn't seem as bad as waving a gun in a parking lot and Damian Wilson walked away unscathed on that one
