Making the point I've been making for a while.

The third video is that play where Zeke looked like he could break it wide following Frederick, but broke it inside and was quickly tackled.

I liked how the play demonstrates the value of the muli threat run game. Daks hands off to Zeke and rolls in the opposite direction with Austin running with him. 3 defenders follow Dak and Austin to defend against them running. That leaves a blocker for every defender in front of Zeke.

Austin gets 10 yards a run, and defenders account for him, taking the heat off Zeke. Use him more. Use Pollard in the same role. The multi threat run game works and we've got the perfect players for it.

Let this sink in for a second.

We have a good running QB in Dak. Add in Zeke, Pollard, and Austin and there is no way we should be having games where we gain less then 130 yards rushing. Those four guys have misdirection written all over them.

We need to hire someone from KC's offensive side of the ball. Then pluck a guy from the Ravens if possible.

Olawale as well. Even Cobb. And Austin, Pollard, and Olawale all have great speed and enough hands to go deep against their likely matchups.

We pick all these complementary run threats who can also go deep, the perfect schematic match to a grinding run game with Zeke, Dak, and the oline, but don't use them in that specialty. It's just so weird.

We like our old single shot revolver even though we have a fully auto arsenal..

Just one shallow cross per game to Austin and he’s off to the races...

It’s amazing how anemic the playbook remains.

Im still not sure why a guy like Devin Smith remains inactive? Have him run streaks and Austin underneath that. Toss Coop and Gallup on the other side and good luck defenses.

3rd and 3? Let’s run all verticals or 12 yard curls

Zeke obviously left meat on the bone on that run and in fact after this game he even noted in an interview he has do better.

The Zeke Boys will claim no other back in the league could get the 10-12 yards got on that run. They’ll also point to Zeke’s cumulative totals and disregard even the words Zeke says himself, lol.

Maybe he just sucks? They didn't use him with the Rams either.

He’s a special kind of talent. I watched him at West Virginia and he was simply electric.

With that being said, you have to know how to utilize him more effectively. Jet sweeps aren’t the only trick up his sleeve.

If you were to try to judge Zeke's issues by that video alone, you'd probably conclude that he's lost his vision. He cut back inside because he thought he could juke the defender who tackled him with one arm, but had he kept going outside, he likely gets at least another 10 yards. That's one play in which I think Pollard goes the distance.

Devin Smith: 137 QBR when thrown to. 2nd round pick. We have his rights for next year.
Inactive for weeks.

We really could put a track meet on the field, between Cooper, Smith, Austin, Pollard, and Olawale.

Agree, been saying the same thing for years it seems.
Why do we even roster a FB, especially a very talented one in Olawale, what a waste of talent.
