Reel the line in, the Cowboys got one. Welcome the newest DT to Dallas, Brian Price.
With 53-man rosters officially being set on Saturday, Sunday means waiver claims are going to be bouncing around the news like crazy. The Dallas Cowboys have gotten in on the action, and they have a new defensive tackle to play with... Brian Price.
Dallas claimed DT Brian Price on waivers from Green Bay.

Brian Price spent most of the 2016 season on the Green Bay Packers practice squad. Prior to that he played collegiately at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Price is a player that the Packers like and were likely hoping would survive the wavier wire. From our friends at Acme Packing Company:
Price had been battling all preseason long with Christian Ringo for the Packers’ fifth spot on the Packers’ defensive line. The Packers kept Ringo on the roster in that spot on Saturday, likely hoping that Price would be able to make it through waivers and onto the team’s practice squad once again.
The Cowboys have Maliek Collins, Stephen Paea, and Cedric Thornton in terms of defensive tackle depth. While they chose to waive the pet cat of a lot of BTBers in Lewis Neal, Price provides some size that Neal does not considering he’s 6’3”.
This will be a busy day in terms of roster moves, claims, signings, etc. so it’s hard to know at this point in time exactly who the odd man out will be in favor of Price. For now, welcome the newest member of the Dallas Cowboys, and forgive me for saying that the Price is right.
