The Cowboys left tackle makes an unexpected appearance on the Friday injury report.

The final injury report for the Dallas Cowboys game against the Chicago Bears is out, and left tackle Tyron Smith is listed as questionable. This is a bit of a surprise considering no one had been talking about an injury for Smith during the week, but his back tightened up at practice today and since he wasn’t able to get enough time in today, he ended up on the injury report. The Cowboys expect that he’ll play though, this was strictly in keeping with NFL rules.

Orlando Scandrick is also listed as questionable with his hamstring issues, but he is truly a game-time decision. The Cowboys could decide to rest Scandrick since he didn’t practice at all this week, giving rookie Anthony Brown a shot as the nickel corner. Jack Crawford (shoulder) and Doug Free (quad) are both listed as questionable but both practiced fully today and are expected to play.

Even though linebacker Mark Nzeocha got practice time in this week, it looks like he’ll have to wait another week before he plays, he is listed as doubtful. Tony Romo and Charles Tapper are both ruled out.

The Bears list is long, but the highlights are that Jay Cutler, Eddie Goldman and Danny Trevathan are not expected to play. The Bears injury report:

OUT - Danny Trevathan (thumb)

DOUBTFUL - RB Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring), QB Jay Cutler (right thumb), DT Eddie Goldman (ankle)

QUESTIONABLe - S Adrian Amos (concussion), CB Bryce Callahan (concussion), CB Kyle Fuller (knee), WR Alshon Jeffery (knee), T Bobby Massie (toe), CB Tracy Porter (knee), S Chris Prosinski (calf), G Josh Sitton (shoulder), DT Will Sutton (elbow), LB Willie Young (knee)
