We are coming up on the quarter pole of the NFL season and fantasy football is in full swing.Things are beginning to shape up and give us a clear picture of who's who for the season. There are a few names that keep turning up week after week, and a couple surprises too. Who makes the cut this week?
Editor's Note: FanDuel is running a $2,000,000 fantasy football league in week 4. The top 90,800 teams win cash with $150,000 paid to first place on Sunday. Join now!
Quarterback
Start
Andy Dalton - As far as fantasy QBs go, the Red River Rifleman is smoking. He is the third most productive passer in fantasy football for 2015 and there are no signs that he is about to slow down. Andy has an 8:1 touchdown to interception ratio this season This week he faces a Kansas City team who struggles to take the ball away and who surrenders touchdowns like a giant red sieve.
Derek Carr - Carr has not been a top ten passer thus far but he should break in to that group after facing Da Bears. Chicago has been generous to offenses this season and Carr is the next in line to pad his stats against them. Carr is gaining momentum as the season wears on and with Chicago allowing an average of 20 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks now is the time to get Carr in your line up.

Jameis Winston - Carolina is one of the stingiest defenses for other team's quarterbacks to face. They are giving up just over five yards per completion and they have twice as many interceptions as touchdowns allowed. This is not going to be a fun weekend for the rookie passer from Tampa Bay and it could turn out to be an outright miserable one. As a bonus tip, this might be a good week to have the Panthers D in your line up.
Teddy Bridgewater - 505 yards passing allowed. That would suck for a game, but it is the three game total for Denver, so in this case it sucks for the rest of the league. Denver is not only stingy in the secondary, they get it done up front, too. They are among the league leaders in sacks. Long day looming for those in purple.
Running Back
Start
Joseph Randle - Most of us are a little concerned the Dallas offense right now, but this is the time to bank on one critical part of that group. Randle's first half last week showed that he can get the job done, and the Saints run defense it a great place for him to finally go over 100 yards. This year New Orleans is allowing an average of 126 yards per game to opposing backs, and without Tony Romo, Dallas will look to go to the run early and often if that offensive line can take over the game.
Latavius Murray - Remember what I said about Chicago being generous to QBs. Well, they do not discriminate; they take good care of the other team's RBs as well. They are nearly 10 yards per game more generous to backs than are the Saints. Twice this season they have surrendered 10 plus fantasy points to the opposition's #2 runner after being kind to the starter. That is twice in three games folks. If you don't have or can't get Murray take a look at his back up Roy Helu

Justin Forsett - With Big Ben out, the defense will have to carry the Steelers forward. That is something Pittsburgh traditionally does well, especially on the ground. This year the Steelers are allowing 3.6 yards per rush and no back has dented the end zone against the yellow and black clad defenders. Add to that the fact that Forsett is proving to be a disappointment to his team as well. Last week he was held to just 13 yards rushing on ten carries.
Doug Martin - The Tampa Bay runner has gained only 176 yards on the ground this season after showing so much during training camp. A stout Carolina front seven will stand a good chance of delaying his journey over the 200 yard mark by another week.
Wide Receiver
Start
Jordan Matthews - The Washington secondary is a dream match up for receivers and this week it is the Eagles turn to benefit from from the opportunity. The secondary just lost DeAngelo Hall for several weeks and the situation has gone from bad to worse for the Commanders. As long as Sam Bradford can get a rhythm going, Matthews will have an explosive day.
Amari Cooper - Cooper has gone over 100 yards in two straight games and he is a good bet to do the same against Chicago. He is also a solid bet for a multi-touchdown game as well. The Bears give those out to receivers like candy at Halloween. If you don't have Derek Carr, then you can still cash in by having his top target.
Marvin Jones - If you are getting the feeling that I like the matchups for the Bengals and Raiders offenses this week, you are correct. Expect that Kansas City will focus its efforts on not letting A. J, Green beat them. That means that Jones will be the man who gets the job done. He has done a solid job of asserting himself into the Bengals offense as the WR2 playing opposite of one of the best in the game. This is the week that he will reap the benefits.
Sit
Calvin Johnson - Yes I am benching Megatron again this week. For most of his career the Lions star receiver has been good for around 15 yards per catch but something is off in 2015 and he is under 10 yards per catch, This week they face the Seattle Seahawks so it will be a challenge for Johnson to get back on track in week four. There is little doubt that he will get it going, but it will wait at least one more week.
Mike Wallace - The Minnesota receiver has only 12 catches for 150 yards this season, and that leads the team. He might be Teddy Bridgewater's most reliable target, but the Vikings are not getting enough use out of him. Their chances to get him involved more often will be greatly limited this week by a Denver defense who reminds long time fans of the productivity the Mile High City used to witness from the Orange Crush.
Tight End
Start
Martellus Bennett - The Unicorn lives. Tellus is here for one reason, Oakland has given up an average of 20 fantasy points per game to tight ends this season and they have allowed five scores to the position. This is more of a what the Raiders can't do pick than it is a statement of what Bennett can do.
Jimmy Graham - The Seahawks went after Graham for one reason alone. After the goal line interception in the Super Bowl they wanted a big goal line target for Russell Wilson. They will go to him often in the red zone and against Detroit that is a good choice. The Pontiac *****cats have allowed touchdowns by the tight end in all three games this season.
Sit
Jered Cook - The Arizona defense is one of the better units at stopping the tight end this season, Cook is looking to rebound from a dismal showing last week, but he will face an uphill battle to do so against the Cardinals.
