Jerry Jones hasn't decided yet who'll present him at the Hall of Fame induction. We have a few options. And a Poll.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones finds himself in a dilemma. A man who has never been at a loss for words now needs to find someone who will say a few words on his behalf when he is formally presented for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame later this year.

The boss remains undecided at this point whom he is going to select. From what Jerry said during his most recent radio appearance there seem to be several potential speakers being given consideration.

There are many ways that Jones could go. He is close to several of his fellow owners around the league; one of them could make the presentation. Likely though, Jones would prefer to keep things a little more in house by selecting someone with close ties to his franchise.

That brings up some interesting options. Jones could make it very personal by being presented for enshrinement by one of his family. His wife, Gene, and children Jerry Jr., Stephen, and Charlotte have all been a big part of the success Jerry has experienced. The Jones family believe that their team is an extended part of their clan and it would make sense for them to keep things in the family.

Speaking of that extended family, several of Jerry’s former players are themselves members of the game’s most elite club. Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, and Larry Allen all played at least the bulk of their illustrious careers for Jones’ team before their own inductions into football immortality. All were vital to his early success as an owner. Jerry could choose one of them.

No matter whom Jones chooses, the day will soon come for Jerry Jones to take his place in Canton. While his efforts did not involve contributions on the gridiron, he did assemble one of the game’s great dynasties. Along the way he also helped change the business side of the game and the way it was marketed to the public. Jerry Jones deserves his place among the game’s legends.
