So since we still at the moment in the playoffs, is it safe to assume we root for the Panthers for tie breaker purposes with the Bucs if need be down the road?

If you look at Carolinas schedule and Tampa Bays Schedule, the panthers have harder games and could lose 2 out of the last 3 or all 3.
After tonight Tampa still has Atlanta, San Diego, and Oakland
Carolina still has Denver, NYG, and New Orleans.
If carolina loses tonight I could see them possibly losing out.
You could also say we have the tie breaker against Tampa, but looking at their schedule they may just lose 1 out of their last 3.
So its not safe to say that we would end up with the same record as tampa.
So its kind of tough to chose who we want tonight, an argument can be made either way.

If we lose one more, and the loss comes against Baltimore or Philadelphia, it's better for us if Tampa Bay wins tonight.
If we lose one more, and the loss comes against the Giants, it's better for us if Carolina wins tonight.
So unless someone can tell the future, it's difficult to know which way we want tonight's game to go.
