ian Rappaport said the Eagles and Seahawks are interested in acquiring Vincent Jackson for most likely a 2nd rd pick. Adam Scheffter just reported that the Bucs will probably trade Doug Martin as well and teams have been calling for him.

I know Garrett was supposedly high on Doug Martin coming out of the draft. I wouldn't mind trading for Martin for a 4th rd pick or so. If the Eagles get Jackson that could be scary.

Jackson going to the Eagles would majorly suck.

I'd pass on both. I can draft another RB to support Murray and keep my 4th rd pick.

If the Eagles got Vincent I would be pissed. He would definitely make their offense harder to defend

I am all for the Eagles burning a 2nd on WR Vincent Jackson. Isn't he like 31 years old. The Eagles just spent a 2014 2nd round pick on WR Jordan Matthews, IIRC.

I don't want to see Mariota or TCU QB Boykin in Philly.

I still think he would be a better backup than what we have now.

If you are thinking a 4th rd pick would be fair, it would not be. We would be getting fleeced. The guy was a flash in the pan.

i think Martin could really help carry some of the load. I just worry about Murray breaking down before we even get to thanksgiving.

Have not looked it up but I will bet Martin has a terrible YAC, yards after contact. Will look it up.

Maybe. Maybe not. He's not the same back.
They like Randal's progress.
Martin is damaged goods and they want draft pick(s).
The very easiest position to fill on the open markets may be backup RB

Martin ranks 40th per PFF in yards after contact, with 2.0 yds avg. Murray is 2nd with 2.9. Chris Ivory is 1st with 3.0
