I know the Cowboys have not gotten the respect that we all feel they deserve but we must admit that the teams they have played have not been top notch teams this season. Yes, I understand that you play your schedule and these teams may have been contenders last season but we know they will be truly tested in a couple of weeks. Until then here is a look at the Bills current NFL ranking:

Offensive Ranking:

Total Offense---------- NFL Rank
226.0 YPG ---------------32

Rushing Offense
102.5 YPG ----------------18 (3 tds...longest 23 yard td....only 1 fumble)

Passing Offense
123.5 YPG ----------------31 (1 td... 3 int...10 sacks allowed in 4 games)

Scoring Average
10.2 Points ---------------31

Defensive Ranking

Total Defense
430.0 YPG ----------------32

Rushing Defense
148 YPG -------------------27

Passing Defense
282.2 YPG ----------------32

Points Allowed
23.2 Points ---------------20

What do you see happening this Monday Night on national tv? If this was a regular sunday game then I could be worried about it being a "trap" game but we all know how Romo and T.O. love the spotlight.

52-17, Carpenter gets caught from behind while running back a fumble and the ball is knocked out of his hand through the endzone by their wide reciever. :laugh2:

Well... we should win I think. :laugh2:

Those rankings are pretty bad. In part that's because they've played the Patriots though, and they ran the score (and yardage) up on them pretty good.

Just like the teams we've played have MUCH lower rankings on defense when we get through with them. :)

If Carpenter can have half as much sucesss as Lett then I'll be happy.

I am just hoping that we escape this game without any major injuries (knock on wood). This is clearly a game that we should not only win but dominate. They are playing a rookie quarterback and rookie running back with an average line with a limited passing game. Their defense is woeful and it could get ugly early if our offense has them playing from behind by the end of the first half. Some of you predict a 50 point game but I will be satisfied with a win.

Man, those are some horrible rankings, it's going to get pretty ugly for them.

Without that play by our D, we would have the record for most points scored in a game in SB.:

I see us scoring more points against them and allowing fewer against us than NE did and that's when NE starts getting scared.

OK, here goes.

Dallas makes a statement in this game by coming out on fire in the first half instead of waiting for the second half to get going. Look for some deep passes early and also some big draws and screens that go for long yardage. About 28 first half points to just a few points if any by Buffalo. After the first half we grind out mostly runs and have the second string in by the 4th quarter. Look for injuries to some Buffalo D players including Aaron Schobel and Keith Ellison.

On defense, we will dominate, of course, and Buffalo will only be around the 80 total yards mark by the half. A few sacks here and there and the first interception for either Jones or Reeves. Newman will not play much. One of the Buffalo OLinemen will go down with a leg problem as well.

On Special teams we will try a variety of people returning punts and maybe we can find a good one. We might mess up a punt return or two with personnel experiments giving the Bills an opportunity for some easy points, but oh well, we will more than cover.

Hard to predict the final stats as most of the second half will be 'garbage time', so most of my predictions are primarily for first half. All in all, cowboys win handedly, 35-10.

This is a game where we could definitely "pad the stats" and I personally would love to see it.

why pad stats and risk injuries? for prides sake?

I would rather see us be up 28-0 by 3rd quarter and play Brad johnson and second string rest of the game.

I don't believe I said anything about leaving people out there to risk injury. Not one word.

Are you unaware of the fact that the backups add to the team stats?

I think the correct response here would be "On any given Sunday......" Nobody felt sorry for the Bears before the game against the Cowboys. The Cowboys were the dogs in that game. The fact that Grossman was destroyed by Dallas' defense, and subsequently demoted because he looked so bad was never mentioned in post game discussions.

I'm betting the Cowboys will be 7 point dogs next week against New England. I wonder what the writers will be using for excuses as the Cowboys prepare for Minnesota.

And can you imagine if we beat them down so badly that they benched Brady? As long as I'm making things up...,might as well shoot for the moon. :D
