You can, however, pluck whoever you want from the college game. I also know the NFL has a rule about lateral moves, but you can ignore this rule. If you want a D or O Coordinator to move back to a position coach, that is your call.

I'd like to see Urban Meyer, Tom Herman or Nick Saban. Of the three I think Herman is the only one who would consider taking the job. Whoever takes it needs to build their own staff and have a huge say in personnel. That is why none of it will ever happen.

You have to specify if Jerry is dead or alive in this scenario. You can take most hard-arse type HCs off the table if Jerry is still being Jerry. Harbaugh, Saban, etc. are not going to work with Jerry.

They only guy that might be able to work with Jerry is Sean Payton, but he has a job.
