Aug 26 Randy Lange and Vinny DiTrani, of the Bergen Record, reports New York Giants WR Plaxico Burress was flagged for two major penalties during the team's preseason game Friday, Aug. 25. Burress got into a shoving match with New York Jets CB Justin Miller and drew a flag for a shot to Miller's face. That Giants team has been running their mouths all through the training camp and into the preseason. Whether it's been Shockey complaining about everything under the sun, Plaxico's declaration that they own the division, and then there's Toomer spouting off at the Jets just the other night. This is an ornery crew they have assembled in NY. They better be prepared to back it up.

Poor Commandant has to compete with Big Apple attractions..hard to instill discipline when your starting QB is reported to have gotten his own private strip tease from Paris Hilton, your star DE has undergone the most vicious and public divorce case in memory, your star rb is still chafing because you insisted he give up a few of his media gigs last year...Tom did manage this year to get himself a back up QB not known as The Bachelor..
