So he says in latest MMQB.

I believe it to. I think TO has played his last game here.

Excellent player most of the time, has given us some big production. But we will win more without him.

I think the coaches need to take control of the team. Jerry butting out and cutting Owens are necessary steps to do this. I don't know if they can at this point, but I think it's a step in the right direction.

Yeah right.....

Dumbest thing said on this forum since conception.

TO isn't the problem. Its the playcalling , overrated O-Line, no coverage saftey's and Romo's inability to protect the ball.

But releasing TO is going to solve all of that right?

If this is true all those people who said they were gonna leave if we signed him can come back .......

Oh wait ..... they never left.

Let me say this ..... if he really does have problems with Romo, Witten, and Garrett (and I am not so sure he does) ...... he needs to be released.

Ten Things I Think I Think

1. I think these are my quick-hit thoughts of Championship Weekend:

b. Jason Garrett didn't strike while the iron was hot last year, when he could have coached Atlanta or Baltimore. And he may be paying for it for years to come. When he lost out on the St. Louis job, Garrett, barring the absolutely misguided idea of getting involved in Oakland or the longshot chance in Kansas City if that turns over, likely bought himself another year in the slippery coaching slope that is Dallas. And no one on the Cowboys coaching staff should be buying a big home in Texas anytime soon. So Garrett could go from turning down the Ravens gig in 2008 to -- just maybe -- being someone's quarterback coach in 2010.

c. Speaking of career-wreckers and Garrett, no, I do not think Terrell Owens will be a Cowboy in 2009. It's not going to happen soon, but I believe Jerry Jones will come to the smart decision that Owens is a cancer and needs to be cut out.

no one ever said T.O. was all the problems......but to deny he is part of the problems is just not realistic

You actually act like you're surprised. Wow, people actually think Owens really is the problem--how can they be that blind and stupid!

How about they get a coaching staff who has a pair?

A group who has the guts to confront players and fine and/or suspend them when necessary?

And if the owner has a problem with it, let him fire the coaches publicly for daring to reprimand his players.

At least the coach would keep his dignity and everyone would get to see where this team's true problems lie.

But it seems like this staff doesn't have the guts to say anything to ownership either.

Just the way some people like it...

He is a very good player, at one time he was a tremendous player. But he is a devisive player on the team and his constant *****ing and groaning about getting more balls thrown his way is a detriment to the offense as a whole.

The worst game Garrett called this yr is a prime example of that. The first Washington game they threw something like 20 passes at TO, all the while he was double or triple covered. Romo ignored other players who were open, and they never called a single offensive play for Felix Jones.

There is ample enough talent at WR w/o Owens, and with him gone there will be more "spread the ball around" which will in turn make the offense more difficult to defend. They also need to use the RB's more, and thats something else Owens will complain about.

It may not solve everything but I bet damn sure it will wake alot of players up knowing that even a prima-donna like T.O. can hit the curb if they don't adhere to what the team wants to achieve without all his distractions.

Set an example...spank the kid in front of the other kids!
