I like Olsen but his bit about the DB not getting called for PI when the ball is underthrown was silly. DB's should know where the ball is. If they don't and interfere with the WR who does it should be PI!

its subtle but he can't hide it. It boils down to jealousy, envy. Certain players, former players think like that. They ARE human.

I really like when they call our games. Burkhardt, really let's Olsen share his knowledge of the game while still excelling at commentary. I could listen to Olsen talk football any day. The guy in my opinion is the best next to to Aikman.

me too. Its like he thinks he's a professor. Brady is awful at times too. Just because a guy played doesn't mean they will be good calling a game or being a GM.

if he's doing a podcast or segment, I enjoy his knowledge, just not during a game. Things happen fast in game, and we need the game called, move on quick to the next play. He hammers things to death.

Olsen is okay. He can be annoying from time to time, just like the rest of them. I think he's on the same level as Brady when it comes to broadcasting. They're both just okay to me. My favorite is Moose Johnston. I can't figure out why he was never elevated to the #1 team. I guess it's because he wasn't a HOF player, I suppose. But, Moose gives a no-nonsense broadcast with explanantions as needed. Just my opinion. I know everyone has their own.

OMG. Greg Olsen is without a doubt the dumbest announcer I have ever heard. I can't stand him.

Personally, I can’t stand Olsen. He totally does not like the Cowboys and he has no issue letting it be known. Although yesterday he wasn’t that bad because he doesn’t like the Giants either.

Madden, Summerall, Moose, and others, have mastered the art of simplicity in announcing games. Keith Jackson was another great one in this regard.

Troy is tolerable but sometimes he rails on stuff too long and loses me. He gets off into the weeds and Joe Buck has to pull him back in.
