Couple of days ago Burnett was house hunting in San Diego and Davis was visiting KC. Any news on the two of them?

I saw a report out of Green Bay that Burnett was asking for way too much money.

That info wasn't part of the report but it was enough to make Green Bay say no thank you.

NFC Whispers

We hear the Packers have a serious interest in Cowboys free-agent LB Kevin Burnett as a possible candidate for the starting ROLB job, but that they have a lot of competition for his services. Word is the Raiders, Chargers and Texans are also very interested in Burnett, a former second-round pick who has been primarily a backup throughout his four years in Dallas.

Don’t expect the Lions to go after recently released SS Roy Williams, late of the Cowboys. It is believed that Dallas offered Williams to the Lions in the Jon Kitna trade talks before settling on sending CB Anthony Henry to Detroit. The Lions apparently weren’t interested then and don’t appear to be now.

TEd Thompson is not interested in anybody unless they are off the Blue Light Special @ KMart.

LOL!!!

The freaking 0-16 Lions didnt even want Roy.

Dam, thats just sad.

I'm skeptical of that. Or at least, if they offered Roy first, they did it for PR purposes, because I believe both Roy and Henry were going to be cut anyway. I doubt we ended up giving a player we weren't already expecting to cut just to get John Kitna a few weeks early.
