I have some video that are WMV files. I would like to put them on a dvd so I can watch them using my DVD player. How do I go about it. I have a DVD burner on my computer. But if I am not mistaken WMV format will not play on a DVD

Thanks in advance

I've burned a lot of WMV files to DVDs using CDBurnerXP Pro 3.

I don't see the harm. Too bad that option isn't available to XP users like me.

Depends on the quality of your DVD player. Poorer ones might not recognize all the files on a disc. The easiest option is to play the finished DVD on the device that you used to burn them. Maybe that's not convenient for you.

True I can always watch it on my computer but I can do that now without burning them...lol My DVD player is an HD-Upconverter. Its not really and HD it supposedly UP converts it to near HD quality

Well, the only thing left to do is burn a DVD and see if it works in your preferred player. You might have to ruin one or two discs before you get it right.

the dvd players that up convert will take it from 480p (normal quality) and bump it up to 720p/i. it wont fully convert it to 1080p
