Burrows could turn Cowboys around

I can't think of a single knock on Burrows besides his arm. His accuracy is A+, and he does everything else you want to name on at least a B+ level.

When you compare him to past top draft prospects coming out of college

-Kyler Murray

-Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield

-Mitch Trubisky/Pat Mahomes/Deshaun Watson (I'm not going to go hindsight-hero and pretend like Mahomes and Watson were elite prospects, a lot of people were ticked when Watson was picked #12)

- Jared Goff and Carson Wentz

I think Burrow comes in with a cleaner projection than any of them. I think you have to go back to Jameis Winston and Mariota to find

Nothing will improve the defense if Dak and the offense continues the trend of not starting to play until the 4th quarter which wears the defense down.

True, and if the defense could somehow get off of the field on 3rd downs, be it offsides, or a PI call, when not worn down. Guess that helps too.
