Butch is a college coach. Average NFL Cordinator at best.

to The Zone. I doubt Butch is headed back to the NFL. I like him though. Right now I'd say it's split between Jason Garrett, Jon Gruden, Mike Holmgren, and Mike Shanahan as the next Head Coach. Maybe Bill Cowher, but I kind of doubt it.

I sure hope so, I am a huge Tar Heel fan and would hate to lose him. But, if he ever left I feel it would be for the Cowboys.

I'd be worried about losing him to Notre Dame. Although that is where I think Jon Gruden might land next year.

I really felt that he would have went to Arkansas a few years ago when he had the chance. But since then, he has presumably turned down Arkansas, Tennessee, and Michigan.

Who knows if all of them are true other than Arkansas.

Only like Garrett because he's taken our offense to a place we haven't seen in years.

Only like Gruden because he will bring some much needed intensity.

Only like Holmgren because he would be great for managing Romo and developing him.

Only like Shanny because I think all he needed was a change of scenery.

Only like Cowher because I think he's been out of the game for a few years and would be well-rested and ready to build on his legacy. He would bring in some attractive coordinators as well.

Jerry certainly will have his pick at the end of this year, but lets hope it won't be an issue.

LOL. Nice. IMO Butch won't leave a HC position for a coordinator position, even if its in the NFL.


But a DC I would like Dallas to pick up next season is Jim Washburn, Titans DL coach. I have never had much faith in Grantham, besides Washburn is one of the best, if not THE best in the business when it comes to the DL.

Everyone not named Jimmy Johnson or Barry Switzer endured the same syndrome, granted Bill Walsh once coached Stanford but that didn't amount to anything collegiately.


Bob Stoops and Mack Brown and Bobby Bowden would stink as pro coaches, their strength is recruitment.

Doubt it. He's got something pretty special brewing at NC. Doubtful he leaves. Plus, not sure he'd be a good fit.
