Well if Ramsey/Elliott are the top of their board, can't go down too far. Don't think the others are rated with them.

The only way this can get more disappointing is when they trade up back into the first round for Connor Cook and then are left with a bunch of 4th and 6th round comp picks to fix the defense.

KIrwan is a pretty connected guy, was much moreso back in the Parcells days....he is a buddy of that group. He does a bit on our local radio and was on today at 5 and didn't mention this but who knows?

I do think there is a great chance SD takes Ramsey, and if so I am definitely in favor of the trade down. If we get a second rounder, I'd be happy with just about one of any 5 or 6 guys. Elliott, Bosa, Hargreaves, Rankins, even Jack.

Have you looked at the list of who we have drafted in the 2nd round over the last decade?

Only 1 player received a second contract and that was Sean Lee.

IMO it's pretty difficult to screw up the 2nd round from this years draft, as long as we don't take a TE. They can likely screw up 1 of the 2nd rounders, but if they have 2, 1 will hit.
