For the second week in a row he made a great play on the ball from the Safety position (the play were he collided with B. Church). He was a half step away from a pick yesterday and a full step away from a pick last week, but two good pass break ups at least. I look forward to seeing what he can do with some seasoning, by then those near misses may be ints because he wont be a step off.

We've definitely hit on the first round pick. Collins and Whitehead are the only other rookies doing much of note. Wilson has stared down plenty of plays to this point and been somewhat disappointing to me. Green has been hurt. So has Gregory for the most part. Russell looks lost. Irving looks athletic, huge, and green. Everyone else is either gone or not playing.

Jones has been the best rookie. They have been matching him up with the NFL's best and he wins a lot.

Actually a very accurate brief summary of our rooks so far, nicely done. Collins is a real joy to watch, the thoughts of what this Oline will be doing over the next few years (health provided) are exciting. I still have high hopes for Gregory.

Yep. I think Gregory is due for a big game. He should be fully healed and in shape for Philly.

Couple of sacks would be nice.

I also believe his future is at FS. He can be a ball hawking FS that can also slide down into the slot and also defend these hybrid TEs.

While I don't think Claiborne is great, I think if you put Jones at FS, move Wilcox to SS, put Claiborne at one CB and draft and draft/sign a CB to take over for Carr (or put Scandrick there in 2016) you have upgraded your secondary.

I don't know. The fact we are weeks in and he's still have some issues with his ankle leads me to think he's going to be not much of a factor here. I hope I am wrong but you often hear reports that guys with high ankle sprains aren't close to being 100% until the offseason when they can get months of rest.

I see Darren Sharper WITHOUT the off-the-field craziness

Jones has the tools and it looks like the instincts to be a difference maker at FS. We have lacked that for so long. A ballhawk FS can make a good defense great.
