It is way too early to come to any firm conclusions about Hutch. I think he has shown that he has the physical skills and toughness to play this game. The questions always was whether he had the mental skills (and I don't mean IQ) and pocket presence to succeed. He didn't get to play behind an effective OL with the Cowboys in 2002 or in NFLE in 2004 so I don't think he ever had a fair shot. I would have preferred that we kept him over Romo but he is a BP and SP guy.
He looked good today but that was against the Vikings on the road in Decmeber on a grass field. Let's see how he does over the next few weeks.

ya gotta admit chad didn't look too good during his short stint here. but he's paid some dues and he's stuck with "the plan". i hope he does well. just goes to show ya that most of these guys take time. more time than you're likely to get in dallas.
