I keep hearing how bad our schedule gets after the bye... but I just don't see it.

@Giants on an extra weeks rest
Philly on Romo's favorite day with Foles likely out
@Bears a team that is collapsing
@Philly on an extra 3 days rest
Colts tough game but winnable at home
@Commanders with us smelling playoffs and wanting revenge

I could very easily see us going 4-2 if not 5-1 in that stretch if Romo stays healthy. In the first 4 games we all have a definite advantage over the other team. The last 2, not so much, but there is reason to believe we could win those as well (and there is next to no chance we play on Sunday night Week 17 again this year... so that's a plus lol). So am I just crazy?

I think it will come down to how we play rather than who we play

We will have to fight for every inch the rest of the way. We could be 7-9 or 11-5. A street fight it will be.

With Romo we are 6-2 with I think a +56 point differential, with Weeden we are 0-1 with a -10 point differential. Who we play greatly effects how we play.

Care to elaborate lol?

just obliging.

also, division games on the road in the winter are never easy. Soldier field is never kind - probably be -45 with 70mph winds. Indy is a reallllllyyy good team. Luck, Vontae Davis, TY Hilton, etc.

It all about Romo. If he's at 100%, then I like the Cowboys chances in any of those games.

You're not crazy. What if I came on here in August and told everybody the Cowboys would be 6-3 right now and beat the Saints and Seahawks while getting there?

On the official message boards I predicted 10-6 if Romo stayed healthy... that seems like a low estimate now.

I don't like to predict wins and losses, but I have Dallas at 11-5 right now- beating (I hope) the Jaguars, Giants, Eagles (once), Bears, and Commanders.

I don't think it's crazy, but right now, I'd just worry about beating the Jags. We are starting to see injuries mount up, more than just Tony. There is infighting and too much drama going on. There are a couple of contract issues that are becoming distractions. Romo has had three separate back injuries in three years, and hasn't proved he will stay on the field down the stretch. Without him, well, we are toast...Even against the Jags. We need to worry about them, and then go from there....
